<br>Goals：
<br>The main goal of this course is to provide graduate students a guide to acquire knowledge of academic writing. We will：1 ) introduce the organization of academic writings；2 ) read and analyze samples of academic writings from various disciplines；3 ) do some related exercises on vocabulary and grammar development；and 4 ) stress on developing students’ writing skills. Students are expected to hand in a portfolio at the end of the semester. Final will be an in-class academic writing.
