This course is to introduce the fundamentals of nonlinear optics including nonlinear susceptibility, optical waves in anisotropic media, electro-optics, acousto-optics, nonlinear optical-frequency conversion, spatial and temporal solitons, Raman and Brillouin scatterings etc.
