本課程介紹可靠度 (reliability) 的基本觀念。由機率與統計的介紹談起,接著說明零組件可靠度參數的定義與物理意義,最後說明如何將零組件的可靠度參數組合成系統之可靠度參數。 Reliability 觀念在工程領域中扮演重要的角色,也有非常廣泛的應用,其觀念亦可用於品質管理。

本課程為 "核電廠安全度評估" 的先修課程。 該課程與核電廠設計,維修,及運轉均有重大的關係,是對核電廠工程有興趣的同學必須具有的知識。 工科系會於本學年下學期開授此課程。
