一、課程說明(Course Description)
本課程提供一個簡明且廣泛性縱覽癌症之細胞及分子生物學,涵蓋現今癌症基礎研究與治療。課程內容包括下列主題:癌的起因、遺傳性癌症好發傾向、次遺傳性因子、癌基因、抑癌基因、生長訊號傳遞途徑、基因轉錄體及蛋白質體、細胞週期、基因損傷及修補、基因損傷反應網路系統、細胞衰老、細胞凋亡、微小核醣核酸與癌形成、血管及淋巴管增生、藥物及分子標靶治療。

本課程歡迎具備基礎細胞及分子生物學知識之大學部四年級及研究所學生修讀。

This course provides a concise and comprehensive overview of cancer cellular and molecular biology, covering the current status of both research and treatment. The topics include: the causes of cancer, inherited susceptibility to cancer, epigenetic events in cancer, oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, growth signaling pathways, transcriptome and proteome, cell cycle control, DNA damage and repair, DNA-damage-response network, senescence, apoptosis, microRNA and cancer, angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, metastasis, and drug and molecular targeted therapy.

Undergraduates and postgraduates having cellular and molecular biology background are welcome to take this course.
