一、課程說明
<br>The main goal of this course is to provide graduate students a guide to acquire knowledge of academic writing. We will: (1) introduce the organization of academic writings, (2) read and analyze samples of academic writings (3) exercise on vocabulary and grammar development, (4) stress on developing students' language awareness and writing skills. Students are expected to hand in a portfolio at the end of the semester. Final will be in-class writing.(note: the detail about the format of the portfolio will be announced later)

<br>　　* Portfolio: Collection of Homeworks and in-class tests學習檔案: 作業與隨堂小考 	40%
<br>　　* In-Classing Writing (2 Times) 	課堂寫作(2次) 	20%
<br>　　* Class Participation 	課堂參與 	10%
<br>　　* Final Exam 	期末考 	30%
