Based on thermodynamics of materials, reaction rate theory and diffusion theory, this course includes the following topics:crystal interface and microstructure, nucleation and growth theories,diffusional
transformations in solids, diffusionless transformation.

六、成績考核(Evaluation)

There will be one midterm exam (35%) and one final exam (45%). Problem set will be given constantly (20%)
