一、課程說明
This course is to introduce the fundamentals of nonlinear optics including optical waves in anisotropic media, electro-optics, acousto-optics, second-order optical nonlinearity, and third-order optical nonlinearity. The lecture will begin with some review of the electromagnetic theory in the linear regime and then move into the nonlinear regime. Both theory and experiment will be emphasized. In the past few years, this course is known to be quite heavy and yet useful for most students working on photonics related research.
