This course covers advanced algorithms frequently applied in bioinformatics analysis. Students will learn basic theory regarding data mining and machine learning, including Support Vector Machines, Hidden Markov Models, and Probabilistic Graphical Models; to use the concepts of clustering and classification on biological researches.
