一、課程說明(Course Description)

This course will give a general but advanced introduction to the field of solid state physics. It is an uneasy course for the students who have no background in Modern Physics and Quantum Mechanics, especial when we proceed the energy bands in a solid, where we need fundamental knowledge in both fields. Therefore, I would recommend the students who are interested in this course to have a mini review on Modern Physics and Quantum Mechanics so that you can enjoy sitting in my classroom.

二、指定用書(Text Books)

The lecture notes (text format) will be written by the instructor and distributed chapter by chapter. In addition, i will assign a book as the textbook so that you may better follow me.
