Course Descriptions:

This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge of conventional corporate finance. This course is designed to focus on discussions of the key concepts and methodologies applied to explore current issues and case studies in Finance. The most important of this class is as to how to apply corporate finance theory with an extended use of case studies. An emphasis will be placed upon on (1) Financial Statement Analysis, (2) Value and Capital Budgeting, (3) Risk and Return Analysis, (4) Capital Structure and Dividend Decision, and (5) Other related Financial Topics.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to apply the financial theory into the realm of business finance. They will understand how financial managers make decisions and how these decisions relate to the overall business strategy. More importantly, students will be able to expose to business analysis using financial analysis and to a special topic in finance areas.
Please note that this course is designated to be a seminar type. I strongly believe that students taking this course have the ability to present the article assigned and to participate the discussions with all members of this class.
