一、課程說明 (Course Description)
此先進奈米電子元件 (Advanced Nanoelectronic Devices)課程將專注教授現今前沿與未來可能
發展的奈米電子元件。在奈米尺度下元件會展現出量子效應,而此量子效應對奈米電子元件之特性至關重要。因
此課程目的為連結量子效應,與現今前沿的奈米電子元件,建立起現今的奈米電子元件的知識,以及開發未來前
瞻奈米元件的學理基礎。適合電子,物理,材料專業背景之研究生選修。
This course will discuss state of the art nanoelectronic devices and bridge a
gap between the nano-technology based on Quantum physics and the "real" VLSI
world. Therefore, fundamental aspects of the advanced nanoelectronic devices of
these device physics, device design, and applications will be introduced. The
course is expected to appeal to electrical engineers, materials scientists,
physicists.

先修課程 (Prerequisites): Semiconductor Physics and Devices (半導體元件物理,可同時修
習) or Introduction to Solid-State Electronic Devices (固態電子元件導論)此二門課擇一,
and Modern Physics (近代物理)

A: 此門課為教授現今技術前沿與未來可能應用的奈米電子元件,為半導體元件物理的延續與進階課程,由於與
半導體元件物理同為下學期開授,考慮修課同學的完整性,建議可以同時修習。

Q2. 是否與半導體元件物理有過多的重疊?
A: 以下為半導體元件物理的教學進度,與先進奈米電子元件重複性,僅有兩週,所以重複性只有1/9。授課章
節已更新,加強後半段的前瞻(state of the art)的奈米電子元件教學,此為傳統半導體元件物理不會教授
之單元。美國史丹佛(Stanford)大學,Southern Illinois大學,也有類似的課程。
