一、課程說明 (Course Description)

This course introduces the concept and applications of digital signal processing.
Concepts including sampling and aliasing, discrete-time Fourier transform, z-
Transform, FIR/IIR filter design, and DSP algorithms will be covered in this
course. Multimedia, biomedical, and other applications will be discussed whenever
appropriate so as to strengthen students' intuition.

四、教學方式 (Teaching Method)
Class meetings will consist of lectures and group discussion activities.
Homework will be a combination of theory-inclined exercises and computer-based
assignments. In-class quizzes will aim to help students understand the course
contents. A final team project is required. You are free to choose any topic
related to digital signal processing.

五、教學進度 (Syllabus):
Please refer to the course website for a detailed syllabus. Lectures will cover
sampling and signal reconstruction, analysis of LTI systems, FIR and IIR filter
design, discrete Fourier transforms, short-time Fourier transform, and selected
advanced topics. We also plan to have two invited speakers to talk about
applications of signal processing.
