1. Course Description:
Autophagy is an emerging research topic. Special topics on autophagy and disease will discuss the background of autophagy, the development of tools and therapeutics to measure and modulate autophagy, and autophagy in tissues and disease processes. In addition, this course will cover the current understanding of the roles of autophagy in health and disease. The students are expect to learn major concepts in autophagy research and current trend of drug development strategies targeting autophagy.
