一、課程說明(Course Description)
<br>The objective of this course is to understand the RNA virology and its applications in biotechnology such as vaccine development. The general principles and procedures of RNA viruses, positive or negative or double strand RNA genomes, will be lectured regarding the molecular mechanisms related to virus attachment, penetration, uncoating, replication, assemby and egress, as well as the pathogenesis, treatment and pevention. The participating students will be expected to report recent literatures given by the lecturer.

<br>本課程以了解RNA病毒及其應用於生物科技如疫苗研發上。主要&#38323;述單股正向 單股負向及雙股RNA病毒之分子病毒機制如貼附複製組裝與釋出及其致病機轉與治療及預防各方面知識。同時培養對最新期刊發表研究具分析與批判的能力。
