一、課程說明(Course Description)

This course is to introduce various biomimetic systems. Starting with the sensory system, biomedical, chemical, and physical sensors will be introduced. These sensors will be applied in building different biomimetic and biomedical systems. Based on these systems, learning and memory in silicon, and cognitive functions in silicon, will be introduced. The emerging technologies for interfacing silicon with neural tissue, and for further developing a hybrid neuron-silicon system in which neuromorphic neurons can interact with biological neurons will also be introduced.
