<br>此特色課程為醫學科學系大學部高年級選修課程，預計選擇講授6~8個主題疾病。每個主題疾病邀請一位從事相關研究的院內專任教授主持，並由其邀請一位合作研究的臨床醫師，搭配共講。連續於兩週內，分別闡述該疾病之重要醫療課題及相關基礎研究，深入探討疾病機制。課程強調 ”fusing science with medicine”，以激發學生對相關醫學科學研究的興趣與熱忱。

<br>一、課程說明
<br>Understanding the molecular and cellular basis of diseases is vital for dissecting disease pathogenesis and for designing appropriate and effective treatments. 
<br>   In a Series of specially commissioned lectures, we will introduce the current understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie a range of common human disorders, explores possible therapeutic targets and treatments, and discusses new technologies and resources to study disease mechanisms.
