一、課程說明(Course Description)
本課程目的在培養學生對能源材料與環境應用技術的認識,使學生了解能源材料與環境應用等理論及
相關技術。課程內容涵蓋五部分,分別為:再生能源與傳統能源、能帶結構、半導體與電子物理特
性、太陽能電池材料、壓電材料與晶體結構、奈米能源、環境應用技術與複合式能源系統設計(期中
報告)。

本課程之授課內容,主要可分為下列幾點:
1. Introduction to greenhouse effect and the importance of renewable
energy
2. The category of energy: energy mechanics, renewable energy and non-
renewable energy
3. Band structure, Semiconductor, and Electrical Properties: Fundamental
theory
4. Photovoltaic materials: Si based, thin-film based, III-V based solar
cell, DSSC.
5. Nano energy and Piezoelectric materials: Piezoelectric properties,
noncentrosymmetric and centrosymmetric materials, piezoelectric energy and
energy harvesting application, Nanostructured materials, processing,
properties, and potential applications in energy related fields.
