熱統計物理二 (Thermal and Statistical Physics)

一、課程說明(Course Description)

This is the second semester course of the "Thermal and Statistical Physics".

Statistical thermodynamics is a branch of physics which studies macroscopic
systems from a microscopic or molecular point of view. The goal is to understand
and predict thermodynamic behavior and phenomena. In the course, macroscopic
properties will be calculated statistically from the individual molecules making
up the system. The course aims to teach statistical mechanics to students and
makes the connection with thermodynamics and applications.
