本課程之主旨在探討勞動市場的運作與教育相關課題，課程內容主要有幾個部分，第一部分將說明與討論有關勞動市場分析的主要經濟理論與模型。第二部分將介紹幾個亞洲勞動市場的概況與議題及相關政策，包括印度、印尼、菲律賓、越南與中國大陸等國家，並與台灣勞動市場進行比較分析。最後，本課程將介紹移民與教育相關的議題，如婚姻移民小孩與本地生的學業表現等等。學期成績將由課堂參與、課堂作業、以及期末口頭與書面報告等成績計算之。
