In this topical course we shall study the dynamics of systems of ODE and reaction-diffusion-advection 
<br>diffusion equations arising in population biology.  We shall study the theory of monotone dynamical systems  
<br>and uniform persistence with application to the models in population biology. We shall cover several chapters 
<br>in the books:

<br>(1) "The theory of chemostat" by Hal Smith and Paul Waltman
<br>
<br> (2)" Dynamical Systems in Population Biology" ,2nd edition, by Xiaoqiang Zhao.
<br>
<br>The students will be required to give presentations in the course.
