(2)Spatial Ecology via Reaction-Diffusion Equations(2003), by Robert Stephen and
Chris Cosner
Also we shall study several important papers in Mathematical biology.The outlines are following:
(1) Variable- yield models
(2) Simple Gradostat
(3)The unstirred chemostat
(4) Competition of microorganisms for two complementary resources in a chemostat
(5) On the growth of single phytoplankton for light in a water column , finding critical depth, critical advection,
critical death rate via the analysis of principal eigenvalues.
(6)Competition of two species for light in a water column.
