Course Description:
This is one-semester based introduction to probability and statistics for
undergraduate students in engineering. The course aims to provide elementary
topics needed for an understanding of basic statistics and its applications.
Topics cover probability, random variables, sampling, point estimation,
statistical intervals, test of statistical hypotheses, and linear regression.

Statistics program R will be introduced in class.
