一、課程說明(Course Description)
This is an introductory course for statistics and probability for
undergraduate students. The purpose of this course is to introduce the methods to handle the variability of experimental data and explain how to apply them to real engineering problems. Topics include the basic concepts of probability, discrete and continuous random variables, probability distributions, sampling distributions, point estimation of parameters, interval estimation for a single sample, hypothesis tests for a single sample, and simple linear regression.
