一、課程說明(Course Description)
This course aims at providing students a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of
radiation detection and measurement. Students are expected to demonstrate a knowledge of
atomic and nuclear physics, and the capability of identifying mechanisms behind different
types of radiation interaction with matter. Principles of the counting statistics, nuclear
instruments, and detectors utilized to measure the charged particles, photons, and neutrons
will be introduced subsequently.
