一、課程說明(Course Desc<x>ription)

<br>  本課程主要培育半導體領導人才，期待對半導體真正有興趣、有熱忱的學生修習。本課程介紹半導
<br>體產業、產品、元件、製程、封裝、測試、可靠度、、及故障分析等半導體相關技術全貌，及實際工
<br>業上應用，並邀請以上各領域業界專家授課。使研究所學生在跨入業界或更深入研究前，對半導體各
<br>相關技術，能一窺全貌，將來能學以致用，並成為半導體領導人才。
<br>PS: 本[MS540400半導體製程課程]、MS437000"及MS4141000，業經審核已通過抵免ND(現已改為
<br>台灣半導體研發中心)之「積體電路製程技術訓練班」。
<br>
<br>  The goal of this course is to cultivate semiconductor leaders, especially 
<br>welcome the graduate students who have passion on semiconductor related 
<br>technologies to take. The course will cover semiconductor industry and product 
<br>overview, devices, process, packaging, testing, reliability and failure 
<br>analysis for students have a whole picture of semiconductor related 
<br>technologies so as to become a semiconductor leader.
<br> This course “MS540400 Semiconductor Processing”, previous "MS437000" and 
<br>"MS4141000" have been  been approved to waive the NDL (current Taiwan 
<br>Semiconductor Research Center) “IC Process Technology” training course, which 
<br>is required for NDL utility usage.

<br> 六、成績考核(Evaluation)
<br>
<br>1 . Specific project study - Speaker visit (15%) 
<br>- 5 students/group visits one speaker together and each students submits 3-
<br>page-ppt (5%) + 2-min-video (10%)（Submit by Friday. Each student should 
<br>provide his/her own report. The group will be formed in the class) 
<br>- Each group gives a 30 min overview to Prof. Tsai and Prof. Yew about the 
<br>plan of speaker-visit 2 weeks ahead of the speaker's lecture. (Schedule will 
<br>be settled during the class. The contents of the report should cover 1. What's 
<br>the critical issue of current technologies. 2. What's the solution from 
<br>speaker's view points. 3. What's your view point on the solution and 
<br>innovative approaches?)  
<br>2. Specific project report-2 (choose one speaker): (15%)
<br>Each student should choose one speaker about their lecture to provide a 3-
<br>page-ppt file report (5%) and 2-min-video (10%) about their view (submit by 
<br>Friday).   
<br>3. Final exam (35%) 
<br>4. Interaction and discussion in class (15%) 
<br>5. 1-page brief summary for each class (20%). 
<br>Submit right after the class, limited to half-page . Can waive two minimum 
<br>score, including the absence ranked as "0".

<br>Note: 評分方式補充說明
<br>    1. 親自 Interview 講者報告 : 3-page-ppt (5%) + 2-min-video (10%)（當週五交）
<br>    - 親自 interview 報告方面，須在兩個禮拜以前和蔡老師及游老師討論要去訪問講者時要問
<br>問的問題，之後可由助教或是蔡老師的秘書約時間親自訪談講者，須以小組為單位，5人一組，小組
<br>每人各須交一份ppt及video，不是一組交一份。
<br>    2. 自選主題介紹報告（沒有interview) ： 3-page-ppt (5%) + 2-min-video (10%) 
<br>（當週五交）
<br>   -  自選主題介紹報告方面，個人只要挑一堂有興趣的課，做報告和影片即可，不需 以小組為單
<br>位。
<br>   - 關於以上兩份ppt和影片的形式、內容和表達方式會在第一次上課時詳述（兩份的講者不能重
<br>複)
<br>   3. 期末考 (35%)
<br>   4. 上課發言 (15%)
<br>   5. 課堂報告 (20%) （課後立即交）
<br>     - 課堂報告為每次上課時會發單子給大家寫，關於講者介紹的內容和自身的看法，會限定句
<br>數，半頁以內，只寫重點不用寫多。
