本課程基本上探討核磁共振技術近年來最新的進展及運用。我們將選定近五年內特定且具代表性及重要性的新
技術作探討,選定的課題在核磁共振光譜上,有著較高的應用性及重要性。本課程不是核磁共振光譜入門課程,

合對核磁共振技術有基礎且有興趣的學生修習,例如修過核磁共振原理、生物核磁共振導論或其他相關課程。

教學進度 (Syllabus)

A paticular topic will be discussed every week in the course. We focus on the new
development in
certain
NMR technique or application with high impact. The selected topics are listed as
below. Any other
interesting topics will be incorporated if necessary.

1. Spectroscopy for macromolecular proteins (M.W. > 100 kDa) in solution.
2. Segmental isotopic labelling.
3. Cell free method in NMR spectroscopy.
4. Determine global fold by spin labelling.
5. Spectroscopy in organic solvent and inverted micelle.
6. Angular restraints for structural refinement.
7. Hydrogen bond scalar coupling.
8. Identification and characterization of the binding of ligands to proteins.
9. In-Cell NMR.
10. R2 relaxation dispersion experiment.
11. Protein NMR study in aggregation state.
12. Protein folding.
