<br>This course is to provide the students an introduction to the fundamental 
<br>concepts of controlled drug delivery systems, types of drug carriers that have 
<br>been and/or are being developed and, particularly, detail desc<x>riptions in 
<br>both 
<br>the preparation approaches and mechanisms of their actions to achieve drug 
<br>controlled delivery. For comprehensively understanding the rationales of drug 
<br>delivery design with desired biodistribution profiles, pharmacokinetics and 
<br>biopharmaceutics are partially introduced in this course.
