This course covers the kinetics aspect of materials science and engineering,
emphasizing the fundamentals and mathematical descriptions of diffusion and
chemical reactions. The topics to be covered are theories and mechanisms of
diffusion, diffusion calculations, ionic diffusion, basics of chemical reactions,
and related applications.
