● 課程說明(Course Desc<x>ription)
<br>The purpose of this course is to guide students to do a comprehensive literature 
<br>review on issues related to STEAM education. The practices and empirical studies on 
<br>STEAM education in K-12 schools, higher education, informal education and industries 
<br>are emphasized. Students are required to do comprehensive literature review ba<x>sed on 
<br>four constructs: rationale of STEAM education, teaching model, teaching activity 
<br>designs and evaluation of learning effectiveness. Each student needs to write an 
<br>academic paper ba<x>sed on the results of literature review.
<br>
<br>Session 1: Comprehensive literature review and discussion
<br>Students are required to do comprehensive literature review (at least three academic 
<br>papers) on the topics of STEAM education in K-12 education, higher education, 
<br>informal education, and talent cultivation and workforce training of industries. 
<br>Each student also needs to present the results of literature review to peers. All 
<br>students need to have comprehensive discussion on the presentation.
<br>
<br>Section 2: Academic paper writing
<br>After section 1, all students are required to write academic papers ba<x>sed on the 
<br>results of literature review. Each draft academic paper is also required to be 
<br>presented to peers. It will be discussed and reviewed. Students are encouraged to 
<br>submit their papers to an academic conference or journal.
<br>
