● 課程說明(Course Description)
This course provides basic principles and fundamental knowledges of solid state
physics. Course instructor will use notes, readings, presentations and in-class
discussions to guide students through several solid-state topics. In this course,
students will learn how to analyze thermal, optical and electrical properties of
solid-state devices. Moreover, cutting-edge research breakthroughs in related
fields would be included in this course. This way, students can get better ideas
of fundamental physics, solid-state devices and their impacts.
