Course Desc<x>ription:
<br>Advanced Developmental Psychology provides a discussion of the fundamental 
<br>theoretical fr<x>amework of developmental psychology. Throughout the semester, 
<br>different topics in developmental psychology, including developmental theories, 
<br>biological foundations (i.e. heredity, neural development), cognitive development 
<br>(i.e. perception, executive function, social cognition), and socioemotional 
<br>development (i.e. emotions, social interactions) will be introduced and discussed 
<br>in depth. This course aims to provide students with an advanced level of 
<br>competence with the theoretical aspects of developmental science and practical 
<br>knowledge with critically reading and evaluating research papers in this field.
