The basic knowledge about the semiconductor physics will be given.
One is the basics of the solid state. Next is the introduction of quantum physics to
describes the quantum state of electrons. Third is the band theory of electrons in
the solid state. Through these explanations, the basic electrical characteristics
inside solid states can be understood. Forth is the covalent- bond of the outer-
electrons in the semiconductor. Fifth is the statistics of electron and hole in Si.
Sixth is the mobility of the electron and holes in Si. Seventh is the
characteristics of PN junction. Eighth is the electrical characteristics of the MOS-
capacitor and MOSFET in Si.
