當代城市人幾乎沒有時間在城市中自由漫步的休閒目的地,可以說,一個人在城市中從A點到B點的
幾乎所有運動都是高度受控和有目的的。 漫無目的的閒逛者或流浪者像幽靈一樣在沒有明顯目的地
的城市空間中滑行,能夠像一位富有創造力的詩人一樣觀察和欣賞城市,在這裡撿拾那裡的東西,
改造城市生活的垃圾。作為一個有感知的藝術系學生,要看透我們城市的基礎本質,以便擺脫對它
的控制,無論是政治、宗教還是經濟。 本課程工作坊將通過各種練習裝備學生的身體和冥想技能,
從而提高學生觀察、選擇和將技能轉化為藝術實踐的能力。

Contemporary city dwellers hardly have time to take a leisure destination free
walk in the city, one can say almost all movement within the city of an
individual from point A to point B are highly controlled and with a purpose. The
purposeless Flaneur or the wanderer glide through the urban space without any
obvious destination like a ghost, therefore can observe and appreciate the city,
picking up things here and there and transform the refuse of urbanity like a
creative poet.
As an aspiring student of the arts, it is important to see through the
underpinning nature of our cities in order to break free away from the control
of it, be it politics, religion, or economy. This workshop will equip the
students with physical and meditative skills through various exercises which
will increase the students’ ability to observe, select, and transform skills
into creative arts.

工坊A:漂移圖稿

學生們將使用漫遊者和情境主義者的方法在城市中進行一次自發的漂移之旅。使用他們不熟悉的藝
術媒介來製作稱為漂移藝術品的視覺記錄。

工坊B:城市秘密裝置

學生將在他們之前在 Drift/Flaneur 練習中旅行過的城市空間內安裝一個特定地點的秘密藝術裝
置。之後將選擇的城市地點進行此裝置。

Exercise I - Drift Artwork
In the 1st exercise, the students were required to participated in a self-
initiated Drift journey in the city using the Flaneur and Situationist method.
The students are encourage to use an art medium that they are not familiar with
to produce a visual record known as the Drift Artwork.

Exercise II - Urban Secret Installation
In the 2nd exercise, the students were required to install a site-specific
secret art installation within the urban space that the students had previously
travelled during the Drift/Flaneur exercise. Final critique will be held at the
chosen urban sites of the students if condition allowed.
