一、 課程說明(Course Description)
This course aims to pinpoint some issues related to theoretical and applied
linguistics as well as their applications in language teaching. Students in this
course will be familiarized with some central issues in linguistics.

Topics to be covered may include (but are not limited to) basic concepts in linguistics, online tools for corpus studies, and Python in a nutshell. Equipped with background knowledge acquired in this course, students are expected to do their research independently. A small object will be used to implement ideas using Python.
