<br>This course aims to pinpoint some issues related to theoretical and applied
<br>linguistics as well as their applications in language teaching. Students in this
<br>course will be familiarized with some central issues in linguistics.

<br>Topics to be covered may include (but are not limited to) basic concepts in linguistics, online tools for corpus studies, and Python in a nutshell. Equipped with background knowledge acquired in this course, students are expected to do their research independently. A small ob<x>ject will be used to implement ideas using Python.
