The course is designed to enable students to apply and interpret the results of a 
<br>variety of statistical techniques from both desc<x>riptive and inferential statistics,

<br>- introduction to statistics
<br>- data collection and sampling
<br>- statistical software
<br>- random variables and distributions
<br>- central limit theory and law of large number 
<br>- random variable generation
<br>- introduction to estimation and hypothesis testing
<br>- linear regression
<br>- categorical data analysis
<br>- introduction to statistical learning

<br>Your grade will be determined by class participation (10\%), a midterm (project) 
<br>(40\%) and a final exam (project) (50\%).
