一、課程說明(Course Description)
The major topics include:

1. Square-wave inverters: Phase-shifted control; Six-step inverter.
2. Pulse-width modulation inverters: Sine-triangle PWM; Stationary frame transformation and synchronous frame transformation; Space-vector PWM; Zero sequence injection.
3. Current regulator: Hysteresis regulator; Synchronous frame PI regulator; Predictive regulator.
4. Multilevel inverters: Neutral point clamped (NPC); Flying capacitor; Cascaded H bridge; SVPWM of multilevel inverter.
5. Application examples: Field oriented control of induction machines; Active filter systems; Static VAR compensators.
6. IGBT implementation issues: Gate driver and protection; Low stray inductance bus plane; Parallel connection of IGBTs; Thermal calculations.

Experiment may be provided if possible.
