Course Desc<x>ription: Slice electrophysiology is a valuable and critical 
<br>technique 
<br>for measuring cell membranes' electrophysiological properties (membrane potential 
<br>and ionic conductances) that control neuronal functions, such as the firing of an 
<br>action potential or neural silencing. This course will guide students in reading 
<br>and presenting the latest scientific articles regarding slice electrophysiology. 
<br>Students will acquire basic knowledge and novel application of electrophysiology 
<br>and data interpretation.
