<br>In this course, the elementary components of statistical inference will be 
<br>covered, mainly in estimation, decision theory, and testing hypotheses. Some 
<br>commonly used nonparametric tests will also be taught. Students who want to take 
<br>this course must have basic knowledge on fundamental probability and random 
<br>variable distribution.
